Job Description

Be part of the changing face of Orthopedics in New Jersey. We are a leading team of board-certified physicians and outstanding medical professionals that utilize state-of-the-art innovations to assist patients. We are in search of a Medical Payment Analyst for our thriving clinic in New Jersey!

Duties:

  • Responsible for posting insurances and patients payments onto the Electronic Medical Record system (EMR)
  • Runs daily transactions reports to ensure accuracy
  • Identifies any payment denials and payments not being paid accurately while communicating with the appropriate billing representative
  • Verifies credit cards, EFT, and lockboxes have been posted by the deadline

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • One year of Orthopedic Medical payment posting experience
  • Medent EMR experience a plus
  • CPT & ICD knowledge
  • Experience with HIPPA compliance, Medical insurances, EOB, ERAs
