Intake Specialist

Description:

The Intake Specialist(s) will be responsible for monitoring incoming faxes and documentation for the organization.

Your Role:

  • Continuously monitor incoming faxes in queue and any other method of referring as applicable
  • Review incoming documents and determine document type, notify sender of receipt of document & attach documents into the the patients charts via the EMR system.
  • Enter new patient profile into EMR when referral is received. Complete all demographic data entry fields accurately and in as much detail as possible.
  • Complete a To Do in CPR+ to notify teams of new information/document or when a new patient is added in the database

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have Health Care experience, home care experience preferred
  • Working knowledge in EMR & Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology

Pay: $ 18 - $20

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 5 pm EST; Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm EST
