What you will be doing in Medical Assistant:
- Greet patients and visitors in person or on the telephone; answer inquires or refers forward
- Set up exam room
- Record vitals and patient complaints
- Prepare patient and assist with exam as needed
- Triage patients
- Clean and restock rooms as assigned
- Sterilize all instruments
- Draw blood and perform necessary tests or send to labs with completed lab requisition as needed
- Instruct patients regarding test preparation
- Sets up procedure room including the sterile tray
- Assist in phone back up or scheduling as required
- Venipuncture skills

What we need from you:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Bilingual Spanish Preferred
- 2-years medical assistant experience
