Job Description

Would you like to work for a medical group whose goal is to provide quality, patient-focused healthcare? This medical group is dedicated to its mission of providing quality services to their patients. Currently seeking a qualified Medical Assistant.

Essential Duties

  • Assisting physician with patient care
  • Rooming patients and taking vitals
  • Scheduling patients and answering phones
  • Blood draws, EKG testing, nebulizer treatments
  • Processing referrals and authorizations
  • Triaging messages from patients and front office staff to medical providers
  • Processing medication refills
  • Contacting patients to provide test results to them
  • Verifying insurance as needed
  • Sterilizing equipment and rooms

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • BLS/ CPR certification
  • 1-3 years health care experience
  • Knowledgeable of Medical Terminology

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday -Friday: 9am and 6pm
  • Full Benefits: Medical/Vision/ Dental
