Job Description

As a Patient Access Specialist, you ll be the friendly face and supportive voice that guides our patients through their healthcare journey, ensuring they feel valued and cared for every step of the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients, ensuring a positive first impression and a welcoming atmosphere
  • Coordinate the entire process from check-in to check-out, streamlining operations to reduce wait times
  • Collect and verify patient information to maintain accurate records for clinical, financial, and regulatory needs
  • Confirm insurance coverage and clarify financial responsibilities for patients
  • Act as a liaison between patients and medical staff, addressing questions and concerns with empathy

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience as a Patient Access Specialist
  • EMR experience preferred
