One of the nation s largest specialty care groups is looking for a Patient Service Associate in their offices in Orange. Firm employs over 1,000 specialty care staff for neo and pre-natal care. The group provides a casual setting with employee activities and rewards. Special opportunities for community involvement and ways to give back.

Job Activities:

  • Process referral and authorizations
  • Handle all patient care responsibilities
  • Update patient demographics
  • Coordinate with third party payers and insurance companies
  • Servicing walk-in customers/patients
  • Contacting insurance companies
  • Collecting from HMO, PPO s, and Private Pay
  • Updating system information and registration
  • Assisting with the billing process
  • Preparing refunds as needed
  • Editing account data
  • Following up on messages
  • Sending outgoing correspondence in regards to past due amounts

  • Strong follow up skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Extremely thorough and organized

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in related position
  • NextGen
  • 1+ year of front office experience
