The Accountant Clerk will be responsible for the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data that is necessary for accurate and timely accounting of the business operations. This will include assisting with preparing financial statements, posting patient payments and provide support during audits and any other reporting that is needed.

Your Role:

  • Perform assigned duties for completion of monthly financial statements; including income statements, balance sheets, and statement of cash flows.
  • Review/prepare check requests and expense reports to ensure all fields are correctly filled out.
  • Maintain records for any petty cash and funds
  • Prepares internal and external reporting.
  • Reports transactions, processes and controls that may impact the integrity of financial statements and transactions that would have an impact on revenue, expense, adjustments, assets or liabilities.
  • Verification of bills from Foundation Labs for Sliding Fee patients.
  • Verify all deposits from Front Desk staff including Dental, Behavioral Health, Primary care/ Family Med, Frazee, and Arrowhead.
  • Assists in all reporting and filing preparation including the OSHPD & UDS, IRS 990, 5500, year-end audit schedules & reporting as well as other required filings and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid CA driver s license.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a related accounting role.
  • Experience in EMR and Microsoft systems.
  • Telephone operation and organization skills.

Pay: $22/hr

Schedule: 10 hours per day, 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday
