Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about healthcare? We are seeking a detail-oriented Authorizations and Benefits Coordinator to join our team at our Gastroenterology Medical Facility! We thrive in providing the best, patient-centered care to all of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all prior authorizations for radiological procedures such as CT scans, MRI's, Colonoscopies, EGD's, Pill Cams, and EUS's
  • Utilize knowledge of various insurance plans and navigate insurance websites efficiently to obtain prior authorizations
  • Track and monitor the progress of authorization requests to ensure timely completion
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve any authorization-related issues
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of authorization processes and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in medical authorization coordination, particularly in a gastroenterology setting (preferred, but not required)
  • Proficiency in navigating insurance websites and understanding insurance policies
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
