Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, medical histories, and managing patient cases
  • Advocate for patients and ensure comprehensive patient follow-up
  • Maintain and prepare exam rooms, ensuring they are stocked and clean
  • Initiate and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency
  • Engage in general problem-solving to enhance patient care experiences
  • Participate in community outreach and serve as a member of the mobile health team as needed
  • Perform tasks commensurate with skill development, including HCT, UA, PPD, venipuncture, microscopy, health education, immunizations, and therapeutic injections
  • Conduct medical chart reviews as assigned by the Nurse

Qualifications:

  • Must have 2 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant
  • Medical Assistant Diploma
  • Must speak Spanish
