Job Description

Are you detail-orientated with a passion for healthcare? We are searching for a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our supportive team! We are a dermatology group with a team of board-certified medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatologist that provide the best dermatological services to its patients.

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Address patient, staff, and insurance company inquiries with professionalism and clarity
  • Investigate billing issues and work on denied or unpaid claims by coordinating with patients, physicians, and insurance companies
  • Accurately post payments and review fee tickets to ensure correct billing
  • Perform insurance verification and maintain strict confidentiality across all tasks

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of medical billing processes and best practices
  • Ability to manage a multi-line telephone system with ease
  • Strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, patients, and insurance companies
