Job Description

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced office where every day is different? A successful medical group located in Raleigh, NC is currently looking for a qualified Medical Assistant to join their team. This medical group focuses on treating and preventing adult diseases. Their motto is excellent team-oriented group, focused on employee and patient satisfaction.

In this position, you will:

  • Assisting physician with patient care
  • Checking patients in/out
  • Rooming patients and taking vitals
  • Scheduling patients and answering phones
  • Blood draws, EKG, Pregnancy and Covid testing
  • Processing referrals and authorizations
  • Triaging messages from patients and front office staff to medical providers
  • Processing medication refills
  • Contacting patients to provide test results to them
  • Verifying insurance as needed
  • Sterilizing equipment and rooms

What we need from you:

  • High School Diploma
  • CMA/ RN from accredited program
  • BLS/ CPR certification
  • 1-year minimum experience as MA and EHR experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology

What we offer:

  • Schedule: Monday -Friday: 8-4:30pm
  • Pay: $17/hour or more DOE
