Job Description

Are you looking for a new opportunity that will put your billing/scheduling skills to the test? This may be the position for you! We are looking to add an experienced Medical Biller/Scheduler to our team!

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Generate specialty referral and schedule both in-house and outside medical appointments
  • Enter and track all in-house and outside appointments in system scheduler
  • Complete appointments for multi-specialty department referrals
  • Cancel/reschedule medical and specialist appointments and inform participants and families
  • Generate and send referral forms and documents to Primary Care Physician (PCP) after confirmed appointments
  • Prepare and maintain monthly calendar for specialists in EMR system
  • Obtain and keep track of diagnostic requests and billing forms
  • Call facilities to obtain test results
  • Coordinate services pertaining to appointments such as transportation, meals, translation and escorts

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Proven experience in medical billing and scheduling
  • Bilingual in Chinese, Vietnamese or Spanish
