This successful healthcare organization focuses on aiding the residential geriatric population within your community. This large healthcare facility is looking for a District Manager to hire on to their team. He/She will be covering the coatal communities from ventura to pismo beach that will cover a total of 6 facilities. The District Manager will provide management of residential programs ensuring the facility is adhering to all rules, regulations, policies and laws by overseeing all activities directly related to providing services. District Manager will assist in establishing/implementing departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures working with all levels of management, agency officials and staff, as necessary. He/She will determine staffing requirements and also interviews, hires and trains new employees.

Functions:

  • Manage Administrators, assigning specific duties and monitoring all homes and locations within geographical area
  • Responsible for area staffing, training and individual employee coaching, discipline and employee relations
  • Develop, implement and maintain written staff training plans that outline expectations and accountability standards
  • Responsible for employee leadership growth and succession planning in geographic area
  • Prioritize safety of PCI employees and individuals supported, including Safety Program/Awareness/Recognition in all homes
  • Act as agency liaison working with service providers, Regional Center representatives, Community Care Licensing, agencies and day programs, as needed
  • Ensure oversight through Quality Assurance reviews and regular site visits
  • Proactively pursue client notes system/General Event Report (GER) high level action items
  • Participate in Individual Program Plan (IPP), interdisciplinary (ID), transition team meetings
  • Manage all budgets and financial costs associated with homes, including labor costs and other monthly expenses
  • Need to be available 24/7 and act as Administrator back-up

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of increasing management experience
  • Must have current California's Driver's License
  • Full time M-F with comprehensive benefits

Salary: 68k-80k
