One of the biggest non-profit organ and tissue recovery organization is seeking an individual who is committed to improving the quality of life for their patients and their families as a Family Care Coordinator (FCC).
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with certification from allied healthcare, technical or vocational program and prior experience working more than six months in a telemarketing help desk/troubleshooting, phone counseling or customer services call center environment. Bilingual Spanish a plus! Prefer either an Associates or Bachelor s degree in Biology, Sociology, and Psychology (or any other social sciences). Desire a LVN, RN, Surgical Technologist, EMT, or a CNA are welcomed.
Responsibilities: include but not limited, assisting and processing all donor consent forms, registrations, legal-next-of-kin, and medical/social history questionnaire with the appropriate person to assist in determination of donor eligibility in a timely and consistent manner.
Gather information from the referral facility as well as any and all additional healthcare providers.
Coordinate and streamline the recovery process with the tissue processing agencies, recovery staff and facilities.
The FCC must possess the ability to exercise extreme confidentially, provide honest and unbiased tissue donation options to the families, and perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with the organizations policies and procedures.
