Business Development Inside Sales Specialist 50-60 k (Not a Call Center)

Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm no weekends- 40 hours but flexible and great work life balance!

Position Summary - Business Development Inside Sales Specialist

Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound calling campaigns, email, social media, web meetings, and on-line demonstrations

Participation at appropriate industry trade shows

Identify and qualify decision makers amongst the targeted call

Emphasize product benefits and features to validate sales ready opportunities

Schedule appointments for and attend online demonstrations conducted by the outside sales team

Collaborate with sales teams to produce smooth transition of created opportunity

Capture accurate and complete information and expand the database in the system

Use company system to track all activity including recording names, contact information, actions taken, and reactions of prospects contacted

Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Prefer 2 years of Sales background, business to business inside sales. Will accept B-C (business to consumer) Sales experience as well. Must be in search of a long term career, not a job!   • BA Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of high school education, with a year or more of college education in business fields preferable.
  • Proven track record in working successfully in sales environment business to business or consumer sales.
  • Speaks clearly and rationally, and keeps a cool head especially in situations where confronted with dissatisfied parties
  • Strong people skills required, problem solving and innovation highly desirable
  • Ability to make outbound calls to client customers
