Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure quality of care through direct observation and maintain logs for medication inventory, equipment checks, and clinic supplies
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect data for triage RN or medical provider guidance
- Manage referrals, incoming faxes, and notify patients of lab results as per provider orders, documenting appropriately in electronic health records
- Conduct nurse visits and perform medical procedures including administering medications, injections, specimen collection, ECGs, hearing and vision tests, lab draws, and ear lavage
- Complete medication prior authorizations and call-in refills under medical provider or podiatrist supervision, ensuring proper documentation
- Act as supervisor in the absence of providers and registered nurses, providing counseling and support to staff
- Foster positive relationships with coworkers, collaborating with Nurse Managers and Health Center Managers for efficient patient flow and quality initiatives
- Adhere to LVN Scope of Practice, uphold patient confidentiality, and comply with policies and procedures
- Attend staff meetings, participate in compliance and safety initiatives, and contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement efforts
Qualifications:
- LVN License
- CPR / BLS Card
- 1 + year of LVN experience
