Job Activities:
Collectors will be responsible for performing Hospital Collecting for Medicaid accounts
Assisting patients with inquires
Contacting insurance companies
Processing and reviewing claims
Appeals
Creating outstanding statements
Generated statements and reviewing A/R statements
Following up on messages
Sending outgoing correspondence in regards to past due amounts
Researching claims
Following up on appeals/denials
Assisting Manager with various projects
Requirements:
4 years+ Medical collections experience
Strong knowledge Medi-Cal Managed Care payers
Hospital Collecting experience
Medicaid experience is a plus!
