Job Description
Are you a caring and attentive Medical Assistant who enjoys helping all patients when they need assistance? If yes, then this may be an opportunity that interests you! We are one of the largest healthcare providers in California and we are looking to add a Medical Assistant to our team!
What will I be doing?
- Room and assist patients
- Take vitals, draw blood, give injections & administer medication
- Review charts, update records, document patient visits in EMR system
- Ear lavage
- Process EKG s
- Provide prescription information to patients
- Prep rooms for next patient & sterilize instruments as needed
- Backing up the front desk as needed
- Assisting the Doctor with various procedures as requested
What are the qualifications?
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- EMR Experience, NextGen preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Current CPR card and TB
