Key Role as Medical Assistant:

  • Communication with patients in both English and Spanish
  • Take vitals such a pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height, and recordkeeping
  • Administer injections, treatments, and laboratory tests
  • Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and conducting draping procedures on patients
  • Sterilization and inventory medical supplies

Skills Needed:

  • Interpret, understand, and carry out requests from multiple people
  • Work independently and effectively under pressure
  • Attention to detail and strong organization
  • Demonstrated communicate clearly, in a friendly-manner towards diverse groups of people
  • High personal standards, energetic, and forward-thinking

What we are looking for:

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical setting (externship applicable)
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Have reliable transportation
