We are looking for a professional and detailed-oriented Medical Assistant to join this expanding clinic. The team provides an inviting and positive work environment.
Job Summary: Medical Assistant will be part of the gastroenterology team and will float between 2 different clinics with the Doctor. Your role will be a combination of Front and Back office duties.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of recent Medical Assisting experience
Must have completed an externship
Medical Scribe experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Work with the staff to maintain an organized flow of patient care
Assist in patient care with rooming, prepping rooms, taking vitals, EKGs, blood draws, injections,
Assisting in minor procedures and other duties
Work with the front desk in managing phone lines, scheduling, checking patients in and out,
Completing prior authorizations, referrals, insurance verification,
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm
