Job Description

We pride ourselves in providing the best gastroenterology care to our patient by having accessible multi-specialty groups with over 130+ locations in the United States. We are looking to hire an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team!

Job Duties:

  • Greet and room patients, ensuring appropriate patient flow
  • Demonstrate ability and appropriate technical skills
  • Manage phone triage and take appropriate action under the direction of the provider
  • Process prescription refills following clinical protocol
  • Update patient s medical chart with accurate action under the direction of the provider
  • Provide patient education as well as personal patient care to provide comfort and well-being to acknowledge physiological and psychological needs

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Medical terminology knowledge
  • 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience (AAMA certification a plus!)
