Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to support our mission of providing exceptional care to women at every stage of life. We re a premier team of gynecologists and obstetricians with a mission to provide the highest level of care to our patients! If this sounds like the perfect role for you, please apply!

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing patients for exams and treatments
  • Maintain and sterilize patient care areas and medical instruments
  • Record medical histories, vital signs, and patient complaints
  • Perform phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection as directed
  • Educate patients per provider instructions
  • Ensure a safe and compliant work environment
  • Relay messages between patients, staff, and providers
  • Represent the office professionally and courteously
  • Participate in team activities, professional development, and required meetings

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Medical Assistant Certificate OR obtain the certification within the first 90 days of employment
  • Current CPR/BLS Certificate
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • EMR experience, preferably eCW
  • Previous experience working in OBGYN or Primary care (a plus!)
  • Phlebotomy & venipuncture
