What You ll Do:

Front Office Duties:

  • Greet and check patients in/out, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience
  • Manage phone lines, scheduling, and confirming appointments
  • Collect and verify patient insurance information, ensuring accurate billing
  • Enter patient data into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and insurance verifications
  • Assist with patient inquiries and provide outstanding customer service

Back Office Duties:

  • Room patients, prepare for examinations, and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and clean
  • Take vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate
  • Perform EKGs, blood draws, injections, and assist with minor procedures
  • Sterilize and prepare medical instruments and trays
  • Assist providers with patient exams and procedures as needed
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

Qualifications:

  • Medical Assistant Certficate
  • 6+ months of Medical Assistant experience
