Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient patient care by assisting with exams, preparing records, and maintaining a supportive environment for our patients. Responsibilities:

  • Set up electronic health records to accurately document patient encounters
  • Collect and record vital signs and other pertinent patient information
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
  • Ensure patient needs are met by following provider instructions diligently
  • Perform routine injections and handle laboratory specimens as required
  • Complete lab requisitions, document results, and maintain vaccine logs accurately
  • Initiate specialty referrals, ensuring all necessary documentation and results are sent promptly
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and provide compassionate customer service
  • Maintain professional conduct and adhere to clinic standards at all times
  • Support efficient patient flow and communicate wait times effectively

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Back Office Medical Assistant experience
  • Must have vaccine knowledge
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
