In this Position, you will:
- Assisting physician with patient care
- Checking patients in/out
- Rooming patients and taking vitals
- Scheduling patients and answering phones
- Blood draws, EKG testing and giving immunizations and injections
- Processing referrals and authorizations
- Triaging messages from patients and front office staff to medical providers
- Processing medication refills
- Contacting patients to provide test results to them
- Verifying insurance as needed
- Sterilizing equipment and rooms
What we need from you:
- High School Diploma
- Medical Assistant Certification
- BLS/ CPR certification
- 1-year minimum experience as MA
- Knowledge of medical terminology
