One of Orange County s top Cardiology practices is seeking a Medical Front Office Assistant for their Fountain Valley location. With over 100 patients a day, this practice provides several specialties within the cardiology field. Each facility is extremely focused on the well-being and servicing of their patients. What will I be doing?

  • Acting as ambassador for clinic and staff to patients
  • Rooming patients
  • Taking vitals
  • Scheduling testing for various cardiology tests
  • Assisting with setting up holter monitors
  • Assisting patients
  • Providing patients with information as directed by Physician
  • Returning patient calls for basic inquiries
  • Preparing new patient documents
  • Pulling charts
  • Providing back up to front office as needed
  • Taking messages for Physician and following up as directed
  • Setting up rooms after visits
  • Asking patient basic information
  • Updating information on charts
  • Assisting Physician with testing and procedures
  • Assisting Office Manager as needed

What are the requirements?

  • 1+ Experience as a Medical Back Office
  • Medical terminology knowledge
  • Experience with EMR system and window s environment
