Medical Biller:

Our client is a well-established Medical Group with a solid history within the communities they service. They are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join their team!

Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, outgoing, and motivated.


Daily data entry for medical claims into medical billing software system

Ability to meet individual and team goals with minimal errors. Uphold Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA compliance guidelines in relation to billing, collections, and PHI information. (Maintain confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations)

Conduct research to ensure all insurance, demographic, and eligibility information is obtained and entered into the system accurately.

Evaluate patient accounts for existing insurance coverage Obtain and assess all documentation required for eligibility determination

. Initiate and maintain proper follow-up to ensure timely processing and completion of all mandated applications and accompanying documentation.

Adhere to internal protocols and contractual obligations as it applies to specific payor requirements. Develop system solutions to eligibility engine mapping responses. Reviews problematic accounts, and makes recommendations to the Eligibility Supervisor as needed.


2+ years of healthcare medical billing experience

Knowledge of business office procedures

Knowledge of basic medical coding

Knowledge of third party operating procedures and practices

Insurance basics, PPO, HMO, POS, Capitation, Workers Comp, Mva

Government programs such as Medicare, Medicare HMO, Medicaid, Medicaid HMO, Tricare, Veterans Affairs, Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal

Certificate or degree in Health Care Management Field strongly recommended.

GI experience is a plus!

Schedule- Full-time M-F 8am-5pm
