Job Description

Are you looking for a new opportunity that will put your billing skills to the test? We are looking to add an experienced & detail-oriented Medical Biller to our team! Our practice specializes in nephrology and internal medicine that strives to deliver comprehensive medical services to our patients!

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance companies
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorization
  • Review and correct coding errors and ensure compliance with coding guidelines (ICD-9 & 10, CPT)
  • Manage accounts receivable, follow up on unpaid claims, and handle billing inquiries
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to resolve billing issues
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and areas for improvement

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Medical billing certificate (must have if under 5 years of experience)
  • Strong understanding of insurance guidelines, including Medicare and Medicaid

Schedule: Monday Friday 8 AM 5 PM
