Provides customer billing support to patients via phone. Answers patient questions and communicates potential errors to the organization. Currently looking for a bilingual customer service rep fluent in Spanish.Responsibilities: Communicates with patients to answer medical billing questions and to solve errors Coordinates the final disposition of patient accounts and the collection efforts Other duties assigned by manager
Requirements: Exceptional customer service skills Ability to clearly communicate issues easily and effectively at all levels of organization Clear understanding of medical industry and healthcare laboratory billing Must have knowledge of Appeals, EOBs, CPT and icd-9/10 coding Must be well organized and possess a strong attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Experience with medical billing software 2+ years experience in the healthcare industry
Pay: $15-17 an hour, depending on experience
