This Healthcare Center is seeking a Front Office Specialist with heavy phone experience for the Los Angeles clinic. Seeking a Front Office Specialist who is extremely focused on the well-being and servicing of their patients. Excellent team environment for employees, with strong health benefits.
Checking patients in and out, verifying insurance, providing patients with forms, preparing new patient document and taking co-pays.
Updating demographics, patient information and insurance information in system.
Screens telephone calls, ensure message are routing to the correct personnel, modify individual voicemail s in correspondence to the automated system at least once a week as appropriate.
Scheduling appointments, contacting patients for returned visits as needed, following up with patients, confirming appointments, and assisting Office Manager as needed.
High school diploma or GED
1 year experience in a Healthcare or Customer Service environment
Proficiency in written and verbal English and exceptional customer service skills.
Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records ( EMR)
Individuals should be familiar with multicultural settings, display sensitivity to multicultural issues, and communicate effectively.
