Healthcare Center is seeking a Front Office Phone Operator with heavy phone experience for their Los Angeles clinic. Responsibilities:
- Scheduling appointments, contacting patients for returned visits as needed, following up with patients, confirming appointments, and assisting Office Manager as needed
- Process patents information during the phone screening process.
- Assisting with triaging nurses and referral nurses accordingly.
- Process patient eligibility involving government insurances and notify the patient according to their plan.
- Screens telephone calls, ensure message are routing to the correct personnel, modify individual voicemail s in correspondence to the automated system at least once a week as appropriate.
- Notify proper personnel of all patients concerns and feedback in a time manner to ensure they are handled with efficiency
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience working in a community based organization of customer service environment.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English, Cambodian, Chinese (Mandarin) and Vietnamese
- Individuals should be familiar with multicultural settings, display sensitivity to multicultural issues, and communicate effectively.
- All Asian speaking dialects are welcomed to apply
