In this position you will:

  • Coordinate/ effectively communicate with insurance companies to ensure clients obtain the maximum benefits
  • Must be able to read an EOB (explanation of benefits) and insurance verifications
  • Accurately utilize the billing system
  • Contact clients to collect outstanding balances
  • Ensure corrected claims are submitted on a timely manner
  • Process all claims in a timely manner

The right candidate will have:

  • 0- 1 year of Medical billing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills and Excel
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Basic understanding of insurance terminology
  • Experience using EMR/ billing software is a plus
