POSITION DETAILS:

Position: Office Administrator
Starting Pay: $21-24/hr. **depends on experience level**

Schedule: Monday through Friday (no weekends!)
Hours: 8:00 am-5:00 pm fulltime

Daily scope of practice:

  • Handling the front office with excellent telephone etiquette while delivering a high level of patient service.
  • Knowledgeable with local payers and their authorization requirements, billing experience, and worker s compensation.
  • Scheduling appointments, verifying all insurances, especially HMOs, and processing referrals.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years of Medical Front Office Assistant experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer Proficiency
  • Experience scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and processing referrals/ and authorizations
  • Must be familiar working in a faster paced setting
  • Must be self-sufficient and work well within a team

Requirements:

  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and reliable
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bilingual in Spanish required!
