Job Description

Are you looking to work for an orthopedic practice that invests in the well-being of their patients? We are a well-established group with over 20 locations searching for an experienced Office Administrator for our office. This is a full time, 40 hour/week position with no weekends! & employee parking included!

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patient appointments and manage incoming phone calls
  • Obtain insurance authorizations and maintain patient records
  • Provide financial counseling to patients and process over-the-counter payments
  • Coordinate front office activities and ensure smooth operations
  • Scan, file, and ensure the accuracy of patient documents
  • Create new patient charts and manage electronic health/medical records

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and automated billing systems
  • An ability to work with a diverse population and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A high degree of detail orientation and organizational skills
