We have a great opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist in South Jordan. We are a complete cloud software for independent medical practices that delivers industry leading patient outcomes & financial performance. We take pride in serving our clients with a level of expertise everyone can appreciate.

  • All shifts available starting from 6am-6pm. (Monday - Friday)

Job Description: The Patient Services Specialist serves as the first point of contact when patients call regarding their medical bill/statements. Associates are responsible for answering questions and processing payments for patients of practices using our Medical Billing Services. The expert support you provide can make our products stand out in an increasingly competitive global marketplace. It's all about enabling the clients we serve to effectively manage their patients.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Answer patient inquiries via phone, providing optimal customer service
  • Process payments and update medical billing system accordingly
  • Troubleshoot and research patient and customer service-related questions
  • Follow up in a timely manner with status updates to customers
  • Ability to communicate clearly and document thoroughly
  • Ability to develop positive defining moments and relationships with clients and patients
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of work experience in customer service, a medical office environment, or support desk role
  • High School diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly phone and email correspondence
  • Ability to analyze information and use logic to address client issues and problems
  • Ability to calmly manage difficult or emotional customer situations an de-escalate as needed
  • Intelligently discuss our software as well as our billing practices with callers
