Job Description

Our office is looking to hire a motivated and experienced Shipping Pharmacy Technician to our team. If you think this is the position for you, don't hesitate to apply!

Job Duties:

  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness and condition of shipments
  • Organize all shipments in line with company and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure correct shipment of all orders, including hazardous, refrigerated and/or time sensitive materials
  • Organize delivery driver s routes and schedules to ensure consistent delivery times
  • Prepare mailing labels and appropriate packaging of medications
  • Follow up with patient regarding recent deliveries
  • Provide information or knowledge on medication delivery to other teams
  • Collaborate with other managers to coordinate Monthly Cycle Fill Deliveries, inventory management and quality assurance
  • Working closely with Purchasing: Continual review of shipping dates and reporting exceptions, review the value offered by existing suppliers, ensuring purchasing remains competitive and assist with the re-negotiating of business/service level agreements and performance evaluation and taking corrective action as required

Qualifications:

  • Current CA Pharmacy Technician License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service
  • Previous experience with shipping and logistics (a plus!)
