Job Description

Day To Day Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to providers before and after primary care visits to ensure delivery of medical care
- Administer vaccines to patients
- Assist front office staff in making appropriate agreements for patients who arrive late for appointments or need to be rescheduled by reviewing patient medical record for determination of how soon the patient should be seen
- Provide supervision and guidance for the clinic LVN and MAs
- Provide health education to patients
- Treat patients diagnosed with sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in a timely manner
- Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and prepared for patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid CA Registered Nurse (RN) License issued by the CA Board of Registered Nursing
- Active CPR Certificate
- Active BCLS Certificate
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
- Experience working with EHR systems (Eclinical works preferred)
- Experience in HIV medical practice (a plus!)
- Experience in chronic disease management, case management, utilization management (a plus!)
- Valid CA Drivers License & proof of auto liability insurance
