Job Description

Would you like an opportunity to join an innovative and progressive medical group that has been providing top quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services to the San Diego community over 40 years. Our client currently has an opening for a qualified X-Ray Technologist to join their team

Essential Duties:

  • Taking x-rays and preparing patients for x-rays
  • Speaking with patient about x-ray process and answering patient questions
  • Rooming patients and assisting doctors with special x-ray related requests
  • Retrieving x-rays
  • Delivering x-rays
  • Contacting Doctors with results
  • Requesting prior x-rays from records
  • Prepare comprehensive reports of findings
  • Prepare and respond to correspondence for unread exams
  • Assisting Doctors as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of X-ray Tech experience
  • ARRT Certified Technologist
  • CPR
  • Certificate or Associate s degree in Radiology
  • Bachelor s degree in Radiology preferred
